Under the overall guidance and supervision of the Executive Director, the Regional Research Coordinator (Indonesia) will be responsible for coordinating, conducting and monitoring the Regional Research portfolio with a focus on Indonesia.

The Centinel Candidate

Centinel is on the search for a successful candidate who demonstrates a high degree of the following capabilities:

• Deep regional, functional or subject matter expertise on the Southeast Asian regional terrorist threat
• Strong aptitude for accurate and timely analysis of regional terrorist threat and implications for Southeast Asia.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure quality monitoring, data analysis and report writing.
• Proven ability to work effectively across teams and to actively coordinate a team of research associates
• Highly effective verbal and written communications skills
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Minimum Qualifications

• Have at least 8+ years of experience in similar or affiliated fields of research expertise.
• Master’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Security Studies or a Related Field
• Bilingual in English and at least one regional language pertinent to the area expertise
